HOW JET MUD MIXER WORKS
The JET MUD MIXER is used to make up drilling fluid or increase total amount of the drilling fluid, change the fluid density, viscosity, and dehydration. When making up again, put the materials of drilling fluid (such as betonies and barite powder) and corresponding chemical additives (such as polymer) into the recycle tank through the jet unit. If put them directly, the materials of drilling fluid and chemical additives will be deposited largely or dump together and we can’t obtain diffused and well-proportioned drilling fluid.

Installation and Application
1. Installation
(1) According to the on-site situation, the tank should be at the same level as the slurry tank.
(2) Connect the suction inlet of the pump to the tank body with hoses.
(3) At the outlet, connect the jet mixing to the inlet of the tank with creeping pipe.
(4) Switch on the power, and see if the rotation direction of the sand pump is right.
2. Application
(1) For operation and maintenance of the sand pump, see its operation and maintenance instructions.
(2) BWSLH jet mixing device is shown as the figure.
(3) Before use, open the inlet butterfly valve of the sand pump. Then start the sand pump. When the sand pump runs normally, open the inlet butterfly valve of the funnel, then add the materials of drilling fluid (such as betonies and barite powder) and corresponding chemical additives (such as polymer) from the funnel to strengthen and make up the slurry.
(4) Before stop the pump, close the inlet butterfly valve of the funnel to prevent the instant pressure decrease, which resulting in overflowing of slurry from the surface of the funnel.
(5) In winter, when BWSLH jet mixing device stops working for a long time, close the suction inlet butterfly valve 1, then loosen the pipe plugs under the casing of the sand pump and ones under the inlet pipe of the funnel to drain the slurry to prevent the pump body and pipeline from being blocked and frost cracked.
